ITC extend fall; Maharashtra bans loose cigarette sale

The stock has hit a high of Rs. 314.40 and a low of Rs. 301 on BSE today.

Shares of ITC Ltd were trading down 5.5% at 301.20 on BSE today. On Tuesday, Maharashtra Govt has decided to ban sale of loose cigarettes and also banned chewing tobacco in public places. ITC has been struggling with its falling cigarette volume, report stated. ITC sells brands like Gold Flake, Classic and India Kings. The stock opened at Rs. 314 as against the previous close of Rs. 319 on BSE. It has hit a high of Rs. 314.40 and a low of Rs. 301 on BSE today. Total traded quantity on the counter stood at over 5.06 lk shares on BSE.

NIFTY FUTURE-CMP(8225.35) is currently in SIDEWAYS trend . Yesterday the trend was VERY STRONG BEAR In Jun series Nifty future added 0.13 lakh position in Open Interest and this accounts to 0.08 % of Total Open Interest in Jun series.The Nifty Jun series is trading at 11.1 Rs discount to Underlying . In derivative cumulatively for all series contract Nifty future net added 1.34 lakh position in open interest and this accounts to 0.8 % of Total Open Interest in all series and cumulatively trading in average premium of 29.98 Rs to Underlying. The open interest is also not increasing with trend so be careful and premium of share is also increasing so sellers be cautious. 

At current price strike the activity is tilted to put side and ratio is still strong but addition of call is slightly increasing at 8200 level The Nifty call option is trading at discount so sentiment at higher level seems cautious The Nifty Put option is trading at premium so market is expecting bearishnes Yesterday Nifty Put option has added 522.54 lakh position and Nifty call option has added 575.36 lakh position in open interest on cumulative basis Moneyflow wise Nifty Put option has added Rs 127.41 crore in value and Nifty call option has added Rs 167.68 crore in value on cumulative basis..
