The stock advanced 2 percent in early morning trade.
Dena Bank advanced 2 percent to touch a
high of Rs. 46.35 on reports of tie-up with MUDRA (Micro Units Development and
Refinance Agency) Bank. Dena Bank has inked a pact with Mudra Bank to finance
new entrepreneurs and small businesses. To government plans to facilitate
finance up to Rs. 100,000 crore to promote very small businesses in the current
financial year. The stock is now up a percent at Rs. 45.90. The counter has
seen trades of around 29,000 shares as against the two-week daily average
volume of around 78,000 shares on the BSE. Meanwhile, the Sensex has jumped 51
points to 27,780.
