The market ended with strong gains. The Sensex ended up 359.40 points or 1.4 percent at 25841.92 and the Nifty is up 110.95 points or 1.4 percent at 7842.75. About 1782 shares advanced, 925 shares declined and 184 shares were unchanged. Bajaj Auto, GAIL, Infosys, HDFC and Vedanta were top gainers while Dr Reddy's Labs, Sun Pharma, Coal India and Axis Bank.
