The 30-share index pared some of the morning gains but was trading at 27,260, up 46 points or 0.17 per cent. It touched a high of 27,334.87 and a low of 27,249.97 in morning trade.
The Nifty50 was at 8,247, up 10 points or 0.12 per cent. It touched a high of 8,264.95 and a low of 8,242.45 in the first 30 minutes of trade.
