Nifty struggles below 8000, Sensex flat; SBI, L&T gain -- 6 Nov 2015

Gold remained under immense selling pressure for the fifth consecutive day at the domestic bullion market here today due to sluggish offtake by stockists and retailers in the face of bearish overseas sentiment.

                                       

The market is still flat, as the Sensex is up 30.23 points or 0.1 percent at 26334.43. The Nifty is up 10.95 points or 0.1 percent at 7966.40. About 868 shares have advanced, 890 shares declined, and 87 shares are unchanged. SBI, L&T, Infosys, TCS and HDFC are top gainers while Tata Steel, Vedanta, Tata Motors, GAIL and ICICI Bank are among losers.
