Sensex ends in the red, Nifty flat; DRL cracks 15%, BoB gains 6% -- 6 Nov 2015

The market ended wih minor losses as the Sensex was down 38.96 points at 26265.24. The Nifty slipped 1.15 points at 7954.30. About 1050 shares advanced, 1620 shares declined, and 139 shares were unchanged.

SBI, Reliance, Coal India, Infosys and Lupin were top gainers while Dr Reddy's Labs, Tata Steel, Tata Motors, Vedanta and GAIL were losers. 

                           
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty closed on a flat note on Friday ahead of the results from elections in Bihar state. Brokers said sentiment influenced following exit polls at the end of five-phased polling in Bihar assembly elections predicted a close fight with majority of them giving an edge to the Grand Alliance of JDU-RJD-Congressover the BJP-led NDA grouping. Official results will be announced on Sunday.
Sensex closed 38.96 points down at 26,265.24 while Nifty settled the day 1.15 points down at 7,954.30.
Sensex: 26226.73, down 77 points; Nifty: 7937.90, down 18 points

SBI (3.2%), RILBSE 1.67 % (1.6%), INFOSYSBSE 1.39 % (1.3%), COAL INDIABSE 1.29 % (1.1%), L&T (0.8%) 

Top Losers: 

DR. REDDYS LAB (14.5%), GAILBSE -2.22 % (3.2%), VEDANTA (2.6%), TATA STEEL (2.5%), TATA MOTORSBSE -1.87 % (1.6%)

  1. Sensex is decreased 24.40 points to 26,279.80 and the Nifty is decreased 12.35 points to 7,943.10.
